Altered State Film Festival hosted a celebration of New Jersey filmmakers in collaboration with famed drag collective La Gatita, expanding the ways we have come to perceive the Garden State. Performances and film screenings with mythologies of their own highlighted unique perspectives from a variety of lived experiences. I created a poster and program to highlight the familiarity yet absurdity of NJ culture, everyday objects recognizable yet abstract.
